Reviews

  • Very underrated ballads of the late 80s

Only three reviews shows that this 80s boy band has been pretty much forgotten. That's a shame, because this music is absolutely beautiful and if you tend to listen to this era, especially love ballads, some of the best are right on here. Jonah is actually a pretty good song; and Hands To Heaven captivated me as a 10 year old when I first heard it. It remains one of my favorite songs of all time, everything about it how it's sung and performed and the atmosphere, is just unforgettable. The one song on here that rivals it is Won't You Come Back- strange it shows as not popular on itunes, but trust me this song is beautiful and you'll want to hear it again and again. It's one of those for the evening, when the sun is setting, but it's very sad without being depressing. The other songs are nice and kind of jazzy, even if they're not your favorite David Glasper's unique voice ties them all together and makes it great. Highly recommend this album- and it's cheap! You can't go wrong.

this is one of those underrated groups and albums. every tune is very polished and well written. the music has a jazz sheen to it. I (begin an ex DJ from the 80's) give a strong 4.5 out of 5
  • One of the best pop albums of the '80's.
