I'm a big fan of Mike Watt and his constant search for new and interesting projects. This is definitely one of the better ones. The blending of his underground bass sounds with the traditional japanese instrumentation is enlightening and disconcerting all at the same time. Well worth the time to check it out. His Funanori material serves as a great complement to the Lite tracks here as well. These guys should come to the states and rock our world for sure.
