Wishbone is truly a new height for Conan Gray as an artist. His playful melodies and intricate lyrics find a new home in Wishbone. From quiet confessions of love in ‘This Song’—to giant heartbreak anthems in Vodka Cranberry—this album will take you on a journey. With production credits of Dan Nigro, Noah Conrad, and more, each beat of the production perfectly flows and ebbs with Conan’s lyrics, with special moments like the giant “crash-out” instrumental break at Connell. Later down the track list, ‘Eleven Eleven,’ arguably the closest this album has to a title track, feels like a grown up version of Astronomy from his 2022 album Superache. In ‘Eleven Eleven,’ Conan sings about wishbones, clovers, and still missing his lover at 11:11. This song specifically is a moment for him; showing his depth and progression as a writer. The topic could easily be fumbled, but Conan carefully writes around it and works. Specifically, the bridge of ‘Eleven Eleven’ is sung in a confessional way, feeling like Conan is realizing these things as the album progresses. While I feel like I could go on and on (like a never ending song ;)), I need to summarize this as this is THE Conan Gray album. While his other albums are amazing, Wishbone truly feels like a new step of growth as an artist. I can’t wait to continue listening to this album and discovering more and more.

I often think about how lucky it is to be able to witness wishbone at this exact age and time; this album is what I and a lot of other people wish they can wrote, wish they can express.

This album is soooo good and I’m NOT exaggerating at all!!! I’m obsessed it’s so good and if you don’t like the curse words guess what…there’s a clean version!!! :) I love Conan grey!! KEEP IT UP!!!😘😜💋

This is Conan’s best album yet for sure! eleven eleven and actor are so so so good and honestly no skips

i fear this may be his best album i mean its truly wonderful in ways i cant explain. its more sad than angry but in the best way possible

No artistic vision, he just rips of Taylor swift and Olivia Rodrigo and countless other Taylor swift copy clones. The concept for this albums falls through immediately and doesn’t pick back up. It’s all just aesthetic slop with no meaning.
