I was waiting for a sound completely different from their other three albums. There were hints of it throughout like ‘Cry’ and ‘Spinning’. Yet, I was hoping for a departure and allow more of Este and Alana to sing songs on this album. Don’t get me wrong, I love Danielle’s voice. It is haunting and soulful, but was hoping…I dunno…more. Can’t explain it. Just choose the songs that spoke to me and not the whole album.

Going through a tough time is well tough but with this album you can Sob, Dance, Laugh, Rage and all the things that comes with quitting relationships that don’t work anymore. It’s so great to hear Alana on Spinning and Este on Cry.
This album gives you everything you need. The lyrics and Danielle’s vocals on Down to be Wrong are cathartic for any heartbreak being worked through this summer

I still don't understand why Haim promotes themselves as hardcore, badxss Rockers, but their records are standard and rather dull Pop.
