I’m really challenged by David right now. It’s not that he’s come out - I’m a gay Mormon. I was really excited when David came out because I’ve loved him since Idol (and was like, cool now I have a chance with him 😂). I think I felt betrayed when he abandoned his LDS beliefs because I was so excited that one of my favorite celebs that I looked up to was both LDS and gay, like me. I understand that’s my problem. Nowadays, I honestly find him really challenging: his behavior is mostly just rebellious and aggressive, and he seems kind of confrontational with people in his comments. I miss his respectful, sweet demeanor. I’m all about people living their own life, but something about David rubs me the wrong way these days. He’s like a reckless partier that gets into fights with people.

Love this song….love David’s obvious comfort and happiness…the real smiles and enjoying his talent. So happy he and his mom escaped that cult and he can now be whomever he wishes to be in life. I am so happy David is growing as an artist as he gets to know himself more. Been a fan of his voice since his Idol days! Such a great song, the video is so well done, and I hope David is proud of this one, as he’s proud of the person he is.

i’m liking this song more and more as I listen to it and I love the video and the dancing. It’s my favorite kind of video to watch when people have choreographed great dancing in it. It does sound very similar to a Sabrina Carpenter song. I will say but it’s just as good and it would be awesome if they did a duet to it I think! I sure hope he gets a hit out of the song!
