Nothing new here and it is clearly a patchwork album.Once yo leave the big record companies .It shows in this album with it's inconsistancies of songs that do not create a cohesive album.I am very dissapointed and is not anyhtin special.Rushed and boring .You can do better Vanessa.

This album seems like it was thrown together with no cohesiveness. Songs all over the place. She either should’ve did a straight pop album or jazz album.

This is a great comeback album. Listening to this album is like wearing age apporpriate clothing....he's got some very versatile tunes on here that will go the distance. Way to go Ms. Williams. Very happy for you!
Another amazing creation by Ms. Williams!

This diverse album will keep you moving, swinging, shaking, and reflecting. Pop, R&B, dance, Latin, jazz, and American Songbook tunes and rhythms accompany Vanessa’s top notch vocals, and the production and arrangements pair perfectly with her vocal instrument. Highlights: Legs, BOP, iLike Moonlight, Survivor, I See You, Here’s to You, Vuelve, and Come Dance with Me (especially the remix). Enjoy Vanessa’s return to music!

Vanessa Williams is back and better than ever! Her first album in 15 years, Survivor is a great album that will make you get up and dance while marveling at how amazing her voice sounds today. This is a feel good album that will put you in a good mood and make you smile.
I also feel like the album has a little issue with it’s personality, but I can easily overlook that because it’s so great otherwise.
I sincerely hope Vanessa Williams will give us another new album much sooner than 15 years down the road. Her fans will always love her and want to hear her angelic voice. 💜
This is a mess.

Loved the first 2 songs. The rest is a jumbled mess. Album lacks focus. I LOVE Vanessa. An album would hopefully be put together like a meal. This is like being served lasagna with chocolate pudding with a side of potato salad with a garnish of wonton soup. None of it makes sense when listened to as an album. Why not put out an entire album of dance tracks? Or standards? Please please pick a lane. Deleting.

15 years after her last album, “The Real Thing”, long-time fans of Vanessa won’t be completely disappointed. The legendary R&B/Pop singer won’t let anybody down with this great album.
Auditory Candy

The production is awesome as it’s a mixture of uptempo BOPS and lush jazz pieces that fulfill the auditory senses. Vanessa voice is smooth and velvety throughout the entire production.
