Always enjoy Foreman’s lyrics. And all the songs work together here…no stray songs here either, one of which he normally includes.
It’s a shame to see so much criticism for superior creativity…this is a strong album
Only an idiot would rate this less than 5 stars

No idea why this is also in ther Christian category as Jon is political and liberal not Christian now. When one lets people decide what is sin and not God they show what the believe. BTW, the answer is they want suckers who won't pay attention to still buy it. Don't be foolish.
No-a Christian can't be a liberal. Liberals endorce any and all popular sins regardless what the bible says. So try again.

Jon continues to embody what it truly means to be human: To love others, to wrestle with the big questions, and to help others along our journey. As all Jon’s work, In Bloom gives us words during our despair and hope where there doesn’t seem to be any. A constant reminder to be present in the moment runs through the entire album and has the potential to reshape so many lives for the better. Not to mention, musically, this album is at the peak.

"notwithstanding" leans more into his own definition of what a true follower of Christ is and not the Bible's definition. more leftist propaganda masquerading as Christian entertainment. which is really weird.

user bab1972 forgets that you can be Christian and liberal as well. Christians aren't just right wing propagandists. Jon is a true Christian. Love first, pass no judgment, follow the Lord and not miss guided modern political "christians". This album is filled with light and love. It's one of the best things he's done not only as a solo artist but in his entire career
Diggin it!!

Saw Jon Foreman and the boys (Switchfoot) recently at the Legendary Surf Ballroom - Jon mentioned that he was working on a new solo album. I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. I can tell by this first release that it will not disappoint! Love it! Thank you! Update! Just listened to the whole album - EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. is perfect. Buy it! It’s As. Simple. As. That. I especially love “Where the Sidewalk Ends” - a senti-“meant” for Drew maybe?
It’s a VOOB!!!🌻💛🌻💛🌻
