I don’t know if it’s just because it’s so different from what Ariana has released in the past…but I’m not feeling this one. All her past albums have a certain sound about them that was recognizably Ariana, this one is just kinda off to the side on its own :/
Not to say this is a necessarily bad album but it’s just so different from the Ariana I know and love that it just feels wrong. And not to say that it’s wrong for her to experiment with new sounds either, there are definitely quite a few bops on here and I’m glad she’s evolving because the same sound can kinda get boring overtime, you know? Anywho this is a long review, love Ariana <3

The whole Hollywood thing is kind of weird for her I feel like she’s more into popularity and not generally good music. She hasn’t made good music since sweetener. all generic pop. Disappointing. I do like Ariana’s voice tho. It’s up there Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.

Bye, when it comes on in the car as I’m listening to Hits 1 Sirius XM, I just have to sing it. I’m singing it right now as I type this review. I’m not in the car listening to it, but it’s playing in my head. I’m taking what’s mine, bye bye. It’s over, it’s over again. The Boy Is Mine, that boy is mine. The boy is mine. The boy, boy, boy, boy. Boy is mine. I love this song as well. Yes, And? One of the first songs I heard from this album. You know, those words make me think of improv, yes and? And, I’ll do the car wash. Yes and? That’s it. I absolutely love this song. And finally, We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love), my favorite song from this album. I sing it a lot. I feel like it’s one of her most popular songs right now. It probably is.
