Fabulous But Overdue

I've been waiting for the release of "Simpatico" since about 2000 when I first heard about it (on Patrick's website, if memory serves). I don't know what kind of legal issues kept it off the market, but I can tell you how wonderful it is to finally hear it.
The sound is a bit more jazz-oriented than Patrick's usual -- almost like Mark Isham's Silent Way or Blue Sun bands, who share some personnel -- but slowed down and mellowed out so the overall feel is still very O'Hearn. I can put this stuff on my big electrostatic headphones and just totally lose myself in a book.
