Plies is not the goat. Maybe I would've said so when I was way younger and hadn't heard that many rappers and only listened for the beats, but there's sooooooo many rappers who would destroy him in one bar. Plies been fell off, his music hasn't evolved with me as I grew up he still on the same tired material, he needs to make more deeper songs like Family Straight, Second Chance, Somebody Loves You, One Day, etc.
