The title of my review is referencing the reviews of others posted. I’m in agreement with all of them. This is probably the best crossover blues album ever. Mr Cray’s done some exemplary work since then (check out the album ’Nothin’ But Love’, & the songs ‘I’m Done Cryin’ ‘ & ‘Sadder Days’ in particular) if you like this album. But ‘Strong Persuader’ is still the best

I bought this in 1986 when it was realeased and I still listen to it nowin 2020. It's a classic that stands the test of time. Robert has released some great records but this is his crowning achievement.
