I like a few of Passion Pit's songs, and I'm not someone who thinks cover songs need to simply repeat the original. But "Tonight, Tonight" is one of Smashing Pumpkins' all-time best songs -- melodic, haunting, raw, and soaring. This cover sounds like falsetto bubblegum. #fail

I absolutely fell in love with passion pit in 2008 and still am! I love them so much!... Thank you Michael Angelakos for such awesome, inspiring music for my ears! Love PASSION PIT! :D
