Just watched the documentary "Everday Sunshine." Great film about a great band.

If you're going to get one Fishbone best of, it's gotta be Fishbone 101: Nuttasaurusmegfossilfeulinthefonkay. That one has the typical Columbia Records hits on Disc One, and 18 rarities and demos on Disc Two, which is the real reason for getting that. So, if you need something to get you into Fishbone, that'd be the prime compilation. 'Cause even after you're compelled to get every record they put out after getting Fishbone 101 and a best of is no longer necessary, you still have the 2nd disc of rarities which you, as a Fishbone fan at that point, would consider essential.

U G L Y, is one of my favorites. Other then that its good. Funky ska-punk with hard rock and R&B influence.

Where's "Ugly"? When I first heard fishbone it was at a friends house when bonin in the boneyard came out. I liked it, but then a friend of mine that listened to music that was more in my state of mind played me their first album and ugly was the first song she played for me. It was so damn different and is so damn funny. That first album and the New York Citizens album were introduced to me that day. Both complement each other.

these are my favorite fishbone cuts. yes, of course the entire truth & soul album is mandatory listening too, but if scrilla is tight and you're looking to get the best value, this is the one to pick up first!

fishbone are pure innovators and nuts to the bone (haha... bone) but the reviewer is an idiot., first real group to mess w/ roots music and punk??? bad brains -- and don't anyone forget it. fishbone is real and epic on a level... just for being around when they were and covering curtis mayfield I'll hand them 5. OPEN MINDS< HEARTS< SOULS
