Macca Gets by, while all of us gets high. What a wonderful deep lush and surprising addition to the single greatest longest career ever in Rock Pop history. There are more strong songs on this album than any in recent memory. He still has the ability to write melody and cause emotions with his chord changes. I love it all here, from the ballads to the rockers. Thank you once again Sir Paul.

Listened only to the first three songs so far and everyone is great. Paul somehow managed to reach back for a little extra and put it all together for us. His vocals are great, guitar work, arrangement. I’m loving it.

THANK YOU !! THANK YOU !! THANK YOU!! FOR THIS GIFT. The entire album is fantastic. In my personal opinion, one of his BEST. He sounds fresh and the album sounds like he's having a BLAST recording it. Lot's of songs sound very progressive and experimental. Lots of key changes and "mood" changes within the same songs. My personal favorites - As You Lie There and Ripples in the Pond, both with great lyrics and they both ROCK !!!!! Mind you, Paul is playing pretty much most of the instruments himself. Mountain Top is fantastic. I don't know what to say other than the entire album is high quality, well written, amazingly performed and just great to listen to. Thank you Sir Paul McCartney!!!!! THE GOAT.

He continues to release incredible CDs into his 70s and 80s (New, Egypt Station, McCartney III). And now Dungeon Lane. The first song “Days We Left Behind” is a beautiful, ruminative ballad, along the lines of 2013’s “Early Days.” The second song is a duet with Ringo, “Home to Us,” because, why not? Paul said they had never done a duet before. It’s good but not great, but duetting with Ringo makes it poignant and special. If the rest of the CD is on par with these 2 songs, we are in for a treat. Long live Sir Paul.

I buying this on itunes and the vinyl album from Amazon. I'm not going to take the final version out of this the plastic. Because someday this album is going to be worth a lot not just the music but for an nostalgia!

Days We Left Behind, and Home to Us, are amazingly great songs. Tears of joys, and reliving the great past of the Beatles and their individual work. I was eight years old in 1964 when I first heard them, and I still love there music, and still listen to it. Good bless what they’ve done to bring joy into the world. Keep rocking Paul and Ringo. These songs are awesome!!

"Days We Left Behind": The beautiful acoustic side of Sir Macca that rings so simple and true like other acoustic classics from his canon of reflective gems. Brings to mind such McCartney acoustic classics like "Blackbird", "Calico Skies", "Mother Nature's Son", "Yesterday", to name just a few. "Home To Us": About growing up in Liverpool. That fellow dueting and playing drums with Paul is a guy name Ringo...as in Starr. This is a very catchy, melodic tune with "Beatles Dust" all over it. Paul and Ringo. Hey, these two guys should be in a group together. ; )

Thinking of Mom and Dad because they loved the Beatles, saw them play when they were young. Seeing these two together again is like a cherry on top of memories.
