Some Christian artists, especially one in particular, might tell you to not listen to AI Christian music because it has no soul. What is the Biblical basis for this? There is none. The Bible says that even the rocks can cry out His truths! Rocks don’t have souls. God used Balaam’s donkey to convey His message - and animals don’t have souls! God can use anyone and anything to convey His message. Don’t try to put Him in a box. He will reach a lost soul in whatever way He sees fit because that is what love does. People are coming to know His saving grace through this music, which has solid, Biblical theology. If you don’t like it, then go do your own thing. There are plenty of actual Christian artists that I don’t care for because they have very boring music, but I know other people who find them inspirational, so good for them. :) I don’t go online to throw insults and call their music worthless, that’s not Christlike behavior. Plus, I would venture to say that most Christian AI songs (or maybe all?) are written by an actual person, a Christian, with a soul. The AI just sings the lyrics it has been given. So really you are insulting a brother or sister in Christ when you post such negative comments. Non-Christians are seeing this too. What a bad example of a Christian they are seeing! It puts a stain on the name of Christ. Let’s do better and set a better example of what it means to be a Christian who follows the Lord’s teachings, not to be judgmental, but to love. Only God is allowed to judge, it’s not our job. So don’t blindly listen to what a popular Christian artist might tell you, after all, he’s making money off of his Christian songs and probably just doesn’t want the competition. ;)
