This album would've been better without the midsection songs with the terrible features. It was nice to see Jid finally trying tifferent styles and flows, but more often than not he still resorts back to that high-pitched, kind of whiny, slightly annoying, kendrick-esque flow. I'd like to see Jid take on a more southern sound with his music and work with some actual dope rappers for a change, it's 2025 and he's still kind of in that 'next up' lane and this album hasn't changed that. He's still someone with an insane amount of potential, who just hasn't reached it yet. He's not Cole or Kendrick yet, even after years of trying, and bnybody who says he is (or that he's better than Cole) is dumb as hell.
