Ef everyone! I love everything this man writes ! Shut up and let him free to write ! This is not your Big Mac ! It’s art and I love the way he expresses himself ! Every dish is different …

I love listening to all the seasons of life Amos makes music through. To be able to express his humanity and his beautifully layered life, time and time again, through his albums (each possessing its own genuine and novel musicality), shows what an incredible talent he is.

I previewed the songs, but decided against buying the album. This just isn’t the same Amos Lee style that I have come to love, so I will wait to see what the next album is like. Amos, if you read these reviews, I hope you go back to your soulful, bluesy style that is such a joy to listen to.

What happened to the nice soulful music that we are used to hearing from Amos? Please bring back the rhythm and soul of your early albums.

Transmission’s cements Amos in my mind as a rich and thoughtful singer songwriter who could easily have fit into my generation of 60-70’s songwriters. His soulful storytelling is so refreshing in an age where candy-coated commercial music fills the airwaves. I for one am so thankful he took the leap from teacher to musician. What a gift for us all.
