Sorry Kendrick Lamar, I'mma let you finish, but Kanye West had one of the most overrated rap albums of all time!
I've seen so many people calling this a classic and the best hip hop album of all time, or the album that got them into hip hop, or even 'the only hip hop album they'd rate higher than a 7/10.' And you know what all these people have in common? They all know nothing about hip hop, or about good hip hop. This is basically hip hop music for people who don't really like hip hop. Just look at the features, rick ross and nicki minaj, that's all you need to know this is a joke. Listen to some actual good hip hop or just good music in general.

alright what can i say with this album. there are no skips at all with this album.
people still say monster was a wasted song with an amazing intro. if you remove the intro this song is still good.
all of the lights is amazing. i love the trumpets blaring
blame game is amazing besides the filter he uses
devil in a new dress is an amazing song and might be the best on the album. the rick ross verse is one of the beet features i have ever heard, and kanye also hits with some banger lines.
lost in the world is a masterclass of sampling. reusing a sample from another song in the album (POWER) is an amazing reuse of sample.
speaking of POWER, the sample is amazing the way kanYe uses it in this track. the powerful drum beat fills your ears in peak
dark fantasy is a phenomenal song. the atmosphere is awesome
gorgeous is amazing besides the filter he uses for his voice
and last but not least, runaway. the longest track on the album at 9 minutes as its track length. the ending gives me goosebumps, and the story behind the piano beat makes the track even better
anyway final ranking is a strong 9
